About Snoring
-
Snoring is the sound that occurs from the vibration of soft tissue in the nose, back of the throat and roof of the mouth (soft palate).
-
This vibration is due to the relaxed tissue obstructing the free flow of air through the mouth and nasal passages.
-
Snoring is common and can be triggered by lack of sleep, alcohol use and smoking.
